At what age did you begin learning your instrument?

I’ve been playing the guitar since the age of 13 and was hooked straight away.  Never did I think that it would open so many doors and lead to such a varied career; not only has it allowed me to teach others at varying levels and ages (primary schools through to university) it has also given me the opportunity to tour the world on various shows.

Where did you study?

I studied music at Wolverhampton University.

Who do you currently play for?

I’m currently a guitarist and a university lecturer for BIMM (The British and Irish Modern Music Institute) based in the Midlands whilst providing a range of lessons to students both privately and in schools.  I also play in many pit orchestras at venues such as Kilworth House, The Royal Shakespheres Company, The Barbican, London, The Wolverhampton Grand Theatre and many more.
