At what age did you begin learning your instrument? 

I started having piano lessons at age 5. I started piano whilst learning to play guitar and bass guitar.


Where did you study? 

I studied jazz piano at Middlesex University and completed my diploma with the London College of Music.


Who do you currently play for? 

The Bumbln’ Bees, Rachael Johnson Trio, Red Sea Band and Sharp Little Bones.


Please tell us more about your music experiences. 

Previous experience includes Mathew Herbert Big Band, Dave Johnson Band, Mellow Baku’s Lyrical Waxers.


Have you performed on TV and Radio? 

I have played on Radio Northampton, BBC Introducing Radio and Jazztonic Radio.


Apart from music, what other hobbies do you have? 

Bird watching, baking, gardening, hiking, blading and traveling.


If you had one piece of advice for music students, what would it be? 

Never underestimate the importance of scales!

Is there anything else you would like to say? 

Never forget to have fun with your instrument!
